Love: A Word for Today

Biblical love isn't a feeling we wait to arrive — it's a choice to seek someone else's good, patterned after how Christ has loved us first. Today's verse, John 15:12, puts it simply: "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

Father, You loved me first and loved me fully. Teach me to love others — even the difficult ones — the way You've loved me.
